NEW VOGUE CHAMPIONSHIP DANCES EIGHTH EDITION (2024)

Technique accepted and recognised by Dancesport Australia (DSA) for the fifteen New Vogue Championship Dances and the technique of the seven new vogue dances choreographed by Russ for the ADS Russ Hesketh Award, and for the first time, detailed technique of Waltz For Alice.
Ashley and Jared were successful in winning the New Vogue Professional Championship at the "74th, 75th and 76th" running of the ADS Australian
Championships. They announced their retirement from
competitive dancing after the third consecutive winning of this prestigous event.
Russ was delighted to announce the joining of Jared and Ashley to the editing team for this and future editions of this book. To have coaches of their experience and ability giving input will ensure that the technique remains up to date and reflects the current state of performance of dancesport competitors in the fifteen championship dances.
This edition has updates in three dances, Carousel (steps 14 & 15), Gypsy Tap (steps 30 & 31) and Tango Terrific (steps 1 & 2). All the updates reflect current performances, and brings the technique in line with today's dancers. The updated text is shown in italics.
